This concept includes information, practical examples, and recommendations for action. Representatives of the model locations reported on their experiences and insights from the in-depth discussion on the question. how awareness-raising and practical protection measures can be implemented in women's sheltersThe motivating tenor was the recommendation to women's shelter staff to gradually address the pressing issue of digital violence and protective measures.
During the workshop phase, participants received impulses and information on technical, psychosocial and legal aspects of digital violence and IT security by experts in the respective subject areas.
In the concluding panel, representatives from a model location, the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women, the police, and the 24-hour women's emergency hotline in Vienna discussed how support for digital domestic violence can be strengthened and expanded in the future.
