Our specialist conference “Digital Violence”: Exchange, expertise and networking on site

Digital violence presents ever-new challenges for practitioners, policymakers, and civil society. This makes it all the more important to share knowledge, discuss current developments, and develop concrete solutions to protect those affected. On September 25, 2025, the Women's Shelter Coordination Association (FHK) invites you to the symposium "Safe Action Against Digital Violence" in Berlin – thus providing a central platform for exchange, continuing education, and networking.

Why participating on site is particularly worthwhile:

• Intensive exchange and networking: The focus is on direct dialogue with peers, joint analysis of case studies, and sharing best practices. In-person participation creates space for lasting contacts and peer support.
• Politics and professional practice in discussion: The conference brings together stakeholders from politics and professional practice. Participants have the opportunity to discuss current concerns and challenges directly with political decision-makers and provide impetus for the further development of protection and assistance structures.
• Get to know the FHK team personally: Take the opportunity to meet the entire FHK team on-site! Whether you have questions about individual projects, public relations, or administration – we're available to discuss your needs.
• Technical input from experts: The rapid development of digital technologies and the associated risks require up-to-date knowledge and practical solutions. Our experts impart in-depth know-how and offer concrete tips for working in the support system.
• Supporting program and exchange in a pleasant atmosphere: Breaks with a vegetarian and vegan buffet and other offerings provide opportunities to reflect on what has been heard and make new contacts. An accompanying exhibition, practical materials, and interactive elements round out the program.

The event is aimed at all women's shelters and specialist counseling centers, interested parties, as well as representatives from politics and federal and state ministries.
