Application freeze for the federal investment program “Together against violence against women”

The homepage of the federal investment program “Together against violence against women” states the following about the admission freeze:

"The Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) and the Federal Service Center at the Federal Office for Employment and Social Affairs (BAFzA) are currently concentrating (...) on projects that can be implemented by the end of the program. These are expected to tie up the available funds in 2023 and 2024."

It is assumed that new funding requests within the framework of the funding program have no prospect of being approved.

About the federal investment program “Together against violence against women”

The federal government's program, which has been running since 2020, supports construction projects in cooperation with the federal states that contribute to improving the accessibility and usability of support facilities for women affected by violence and their children. Since its inception, several dozen projects have been approved. The funding program is scheduled to be completed in 2024.
