Are you affected by violence or are you looking for advice for others?
You can find help at the nationwide Help line violence against women (116 016) and at Contact points in your region.
The Women's Shelter Coordination Association (FHK) is committed to preventing violence against women and improving support for abused women and their children.
FHK supports women's shelters and specialized counseling centers through information, exchange, and networking. The association works closely with experts from practice, politics, administration, and academia in Germany and abroad.
FHK's services and materials are primarily aimed at staff in women's shelters and specialist counseling centers, multipliers, specialists, and anyone interested in the topic.

When women flee to a women's shelter with their children, they find protection there.
But this safe place is increasingly under threat: perpetrators use GPS trackers, stalkerware and social media to continue threatening women and tracking their whereabouts.
The anonymous address of the women's shelter is also at risk – and with it, the safe haven for many women and their children affected by violence.
So what should be done? Ban all digital media and devices? These women and their children, victims of violence, have already had to leave so much behind and separate from their friends and relatives. In such a situation, favorite TV shows or WhatsApp messages from their grandmother mean a great deal to children.
Therefore, the professionals in the women's shelter need sufficient knowledge to be able to adequately address the threats of digital violence, to make devices secure – and to secure the women's shelter as a safe haven for the future.
With your donation Enable training for staff in women's shelters from 2026 onwards: In this training they will learn to recognize stalking apps, secure devices and provide competent support to those affected.
Your donation ensures that women's shelters will remain what they need to be next year: a place where women and their children are truly protected – both offline and online.
